Biography

[ BIO ]
Wheels were born in the worst period of music history for a band with no self-destructive ambitions: the grunge-era.
It was indeed back in 1995, in high school times, that Claudio Caroli (vocals & rhythm guitar) founded Wheels. Or else: it's in that year that he turns out with the idea of a band and starts to work it out with a bunch of friends; none of them is in the actual line-up.
In the meanwhile years' gone by, people have changed and things have happened. The watchword is hard
rock and, without offending the glory of the years that have been, today Wheels are the rage and punch of
Claudio Caroli, the effectiveness and melodic taste of Enzo Pignataro's guitar, the rhythm and groove of
Davide Scarpelli (Drums) and Paolo Gazzola (Bass).
So, in 2010 the band arose from the ashes of each member's experiences: in that year start an intense
live activity, which allowed the mad four to walk stages of Festivals and cult-bars of the local scene. 2011
is the year of the first EP called "Big Snake", whose good feedback received from all over the world, lead
the band to the recording of their first full length album "Wanna Change my life", for the label G
Records/Rough Trade Germany, which is going to be released on 2nd November 2012.
Hard rock, passion, power and compactness - a wall of sound. In one word? Wheels.
